Candle Care Tips

FIRST BURN

When burning your candle for the very first time, it is important to burn it long enough so that the pool of melted wax extend to the rim of the jar. This step will ensure a long and even burn in the future. Allow the candle to solidify before subsequent use.

TRIMMING

Trimming the wick is a very important step. This will allow the candle to have a long, clean, even burn and avoid any soot buildup or issues. We recommend you always trim your wick to 1/8” to 1/4” before EACH use.

BURNING TIME

Don‘t burn your candle for over four hours. If you burn the candle for too long, it can compromise its fragrance and lead to smoking/soot, which can create marks on the candle‘s container.

EXTINGUISHING

The best way to avoid wax splatter is to use a candle snuffer each time you put out the candle‘s flame. Don‘t use the lid to extinguish the flame because it can stain the lid and leave smoke marks. If you plan on blowing out the candle, blow softly as to not make a mess.
